Some major takeaways from this episode:
"It is all about teaching clients and not always selling. You might give advice for three or four years before they give you a shot. If all you are trying to do is Sell Sell Sell, people might want to still hang out with you, but they won’t want to do business with you. I am just putting out content. If you like me and your trust me and you think I know more than your current guy, give me a call.”
“It is all about Branding. Marketing to athletes gives me validation. They look at me as a professional who works with athletes. People who own Bentleys will not go to a Honda Dealership to get their car serviced, but people with Hondas would go to Bentley.”
“You have to try things that no one has have before. After I won Freshman Five, all these top advisors were coming up to me telling me I was so smart for branding myself this way. It is funny because two years ago, I was a moron. You are dumb until it works. You are dumb until you pave the path and the path works and if it doesn’t work, you are still dumb.”
The support and guidance that we provide our clients are invaluable and even in times of uncertainty, we can create extraordinary opportunities so that dreams become reality.
